Spring Break Youth Camps

UPDATED 03/17/2020:

Due to concerns for the COVID-19 coronavirus, the City of Choctaw and the Parks & Recreation department see that it is in everyone’s best interest to take the precaution of cancelling the Spring Break Camps for this week.  All campers will receive a 100% refund, and their camp t-shirts.  We apologize for the inconvenience; our main goal is keeping our citizens healthy and safe.  We appreciate your understanding.  Please call Matt Anderson at 405-281-6289 or email him at manderson@choctawcity.org for more information.

At this time The City of Choctaw Parks & Recreation Department is not planning on suspending/canceling/delaying any of our Activities at the Golf Course, Spring Break Camps, Baseball or Softball Games or Tournaments, but will continue to monitor the corona virus / COVID-19 situation closely. The City of Choctaw Parks & Recreation Department will be following all CDC (www.cdc.gov) guidelines for this situation. We strongly recommend everyone use proper hygiene at all times. You should perform good hand washing for 20 seconds and or hand sanitizers frequently and drink plenty of fluids.
Please Keep Your Hands to Yourselves; Do Not Shake Hands at any of the City of Choctaw Activities or Events.  Avoid direct physical contact with others.  If you are not feeling well or have a fever, you should not come to games, camps, or activities, even to observe.  People who have serious chronic medical conditions like heart disease, diabetes, or lung disease or older adults should take higher precautions.  Above all, use good judgement, as your health and the health of the community is more important than a baseball or softball game or youth camp.

Thank You,
Tanner McGuire
