BBQ, Beer, & Bourbon Festival

Well-renowned BBQ competitors from all over the nation will come together to decide who the Best BBQ smoker is in Choctaw, Oklahoma.  This event is free and open to the public and will feature amazing and award-winning BBQ competitors, beer and alcohol vendors (for ages 21+), inflatables and games for kids, live music, a corn hole tournament, and a horseshoe tournament.  You don’t want to miss it - it’s sure to be epic!  

The BBQ Competition is a Kansas City Barbeque Society Master Series sanctioned event with a $7,000 payout.  To register to be a BBQ Competitor, Judge, or Vendor, please download and complete an application.

  • 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM - Open to the public with Music with DJ J-Mingle, Food trucks, Vendors, Inflatables, and Games
  • 12:00 PM - BBQ Competition Judging begins; Horseshoe and Cornhole Tournament registration begins
  • 1:00 PM - Cornhole Tournament begins
  • 2:00-3:00 PM - BBQ Competition Awards Ceremony
  • 3:00-5:00 PM - Push Play performs
  • 4:00 PM - Horseshoe Tournament begins
  • 6:00-8:00 PM - Drive performs
  • 8:00 - Events conclude

Cornhole Tournament

The Corn Hole Tournament is for ages 21 and up, hosted by Great Plains Baggers.  
The entry fee for the Corn Hole Tournament is $50 for each two-person team,
with double elimination and a 65% payout.  Register at the park on Aug. 22nd,
no pre-registration required.  
We’ll be throwing under the large pavilion, so bring your own bags!

Horseshoe Tournament

The Horseshoe Tournament is hosted by the Oklahoma Horseshoe Pitchers Association.  
Register at the park on Aug. 22nd, no pre-registration required.  
Cost is $5 per person.
