There will be a separate charge of failure to appear which will result in additional fines and costs. A warrant may be issued and your driver’s license could be suspended. If you have a valid medical excuse or documentation of being incarcerated, bring documentation to court. If you are arrested, you may be required to post a bond in order to be released from jail.

Court is held at 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm. You are only on one docket. Your time should be on the front of your citation. Trials are scheduled at 5:00 pm on the date assigned by the court. If you still need assistance, please call the Court Clerk at 405-390-3333.
To plead not guilty you may be required to post a bond before your arraignment date to have a trial. The cost to post a bond includes the amount of your citation. Please contact the Court Clerk to discuss the options available if you do not have the resources to post a cash bond.

The court will usually allow one continuance. After the first continuance you may be required to post a bond.
You can have someone post a cash bond on or before the court date and a new date will be issued. Otherwise a warrant will be issued for Failure to Appear.
On your arraignment date, you can appear before the Judge and request to be put on probation. After reviewing your case, the judge will decide if you qualify.
