April 4th- Herb and Garden Night- First Fridays at Choctaw Creek Park
Join us for an evening celebrating all things herb and garden! From 5-8 PM, explore vendors offering a variety of plants and flowers, as well as foliage-inspired art, jewelry, soap, tea, infused oils, vinegars, and more. Enjoy delicious food from local food trucks and groove to live music from a band. (No Farmers Market this evening, Farmer's Market starts in May)
April 12th - Easter Scramble
The Scramble begins at 10 AM
This is a fun-filled event, kids can search for hidden eggs and see the Easter Bunny. It takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Choctaw Creek Park, offering an enjoyable experience for children and families to celebrate Easter together.
April 25th - Arbor Day
Join us in celebrating Arbor Day in Choctaw! Mark your calendars for April 25th from 11am to 2pm at Choctaw Creek Park as we come together to celebrate the beauty and importance of trees! Arbor Day is a wonderful opportunity to appreciate nature and give back to our community. We invite the community to volunteer and join us in planting trees throughout the park. Whether you're a seasoned green thumb or just looking to lend a helping hand, your participation is invaluable in making Choctaw even greener and more vibrant. Let's make a difference together! May 2nd-Nerd Night- First Fridays at Choctaw Creek Park 5-8 PM
This mini Comicon-inspired event is a must-attend for fans of sci-fi, pop culture, gaming, comics, and more! It’s designed for all ages, so bring the whole family for an evening packed with fun!
Dress up in your favorite cosplay, browse booths showcasing unique merchandise, collectibles, and artisan crafts from local creators, and participate in exciting games. Plus, savor delicious food and drinks from local vendors!

June 6th - Wildlife and Outdoors Night- First Fridays at Choctaw Creek Park

Calling all young anglers! Don't miss the Annual Fishing Derby for Kids at Ten Acre Lake Park! This exciting event invites children of all skill levels to cast their lines and reel in the fun. With plenty of fish stocked in the lake, participants have a great chance of landing a catch.
October 4th- Old Timers Day
This event celebrates the city's founding. Choctaw is the oldest chartered city in Oklahoma and is named after the Choctaw Coal and Railway Company. Events include a parade and a festival. 2025 information coming soon.
October 10- 12th- The Highland Gathering- Sponsored by The United Scottish Clans of Oklahoma
