🕙 10:00 am: Workshop - Fall Prevention and Neuropathy
This is an informative presentation that will delve into the basics of neuropathy and discover how proper treatment can help prevent falls and enhance your quality of life. Reserve your spot by calling 405-390-8040.
🕐 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm: Health & Information Event
Mary Mahoney Health Professionals will be at the center to offer blood pressure, height, and weight checks. Plus, learn valuable information on healthy eating to boost your well-being. And guess what? If you haven't registered to vote yet, you can do so right here at the center! This is a come-and-go event, so feel free to drop by anytime between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. No pre-registration required.

Bring your little bunnies for a day filled with laughter, joy, and a hunt for colorful treasures. Our family-friendly event promises a hoppin' good time with egg-citing activities, including face painting, bunny photo booth, and more!
Crews are working on a water line on Sunset Circle. Residents will be without water in the area for approximately 3 - 4 hours as they complete repairs. Thank you for your patience.

Spring is right around the corner! Development Services is partnering with Midwest City and will be hosting the Free Annual Hazardous Waste Collection Event. The date is Saturday March 23rd, 2024 from 9am-12pm, held at the large pavilion in Choctaw Creek Park. The Hazardous Waste Event will be held on the same day as the City-Wide Easter Event, so please drive carefully to the large pavilion in the back of the park. Only 70 spots are available, registering on a first come, first served basis. Please apply on our website: https://www.mychoctaw.org/page/hazardous-waste-disposal . You will need to submit your First and Last name, phone number, address, email, and your 11-digit utility billing account number. Only those registered may attend. We are unable to accept walk-ins during the event. For those registered, please provide your Driver’s License and last month’s Utility/Trash Bill upon arrival. Choctaw City Hall will be closed Monday, February 19th in observance of President's Day. We return to normal business hours on Tuesday, February 20th.

On February 8th, at 1:30 pm, the Choctaw Senior Center is set to host the OSU Community Nutrition Education Program. This initiative aims to educate and empower limited-resource seniors, fostering improvements in nutrition and physical activity behaviors. To participate, it is essential to enroll before the second class. Please reserve your seat by contacting Lorna Harper at 405-390-8040.
