Ten Acre Lake Park will be closed May 22, 2023 until further notice. We are currently working on phase 1(Red) of our walking trail construction for the park. Thank you for your understanding.
Water will be out for residents of Timberdale Dr until 5pm due to water line repairs.
Beginning Monday, May 22, 2023 City Hall will be closed for lunch everyday from 1PM - 2PM. Utility payments may be dropped off in the drop box in the parking lot or made online through the City of Choctaw website. If you wish to have a receipt mailed to you please note the receipt request on your payment voucher and a receipt will be mailed to the address on record.

Last weekend, there were over 85 garage sales permitted for the City-Wide Garage Sale on Saturday May 6th! Development Services would like to thank everyone who participated, either as a shopper or a host! We would also like to announce the winner and runner up of the 1st ever City-Wide Scavenger Hunt: The winner is Callie Jarrell and the runner-up is La’Nay Salefske. The winners will be receiving a gift card from a local business who has sponsored this year’s scavenger hunt. Thank you all again, and we look forward to next year’s City-Wide Event. If you are still wanting to host a garage sale for the remainder of the year, you can apply for a permit in the Development Services office, with the opportunity to have up to 4 garage sales a year.

The winners will receive a gift card from a local business in the City of Choctaw, as well as the opportunity to be posted on the City’s Facebook page and a feature in the Choctaw Times.
