The Old Timers Day committee is actively seeking sponsors and vendors. Additionally, we're looking for individuals or organizations interested in hosting information, education, or entertainment booths at the festival. Are you a skilled photographer? The City of Choctaw has adopted Resolution No. 24-09, creating the 2024 Municipal Court Amnesty Program. This program aims to resolve outstanding warrant fees, fines, and court costs efficiently. Effective May 22 to August 30, 2024, individuals with outstanding warrant fees can have them discharged in full by paying applicable fines and court costs. We are proud to honor Investigator Colten Lobb and Deputy Fire Chief Jimmy Crabb for their exceptional contributions to our community. Colten Lobb, with two degrees in Forensics and working towards his Paramedic certification, saved a young man's life on July 4, 2023, and made heroic efforts during the Choctaw High School football game tragedy on August 28, 2023. Jimmy Crabb, with over 19 years in fire service and currently serving as Deputy Fire Chief since November 2017, brings a positive attitude and vision for growth, enhancing our Fire Department and community. We extend our deepest gratitude to Colten and Jimmy for their outstanding dedication and commitment. - Mayor Allcox and City Council
