Here’s a bit of historical trivia for the day! The picture used on the top of the Old Timers' Day flyer is an authentic snapshot from 1890s Choctaw. It was taken in front of Kiplinger's General Store, and the man on the horse is John S. Muzzy. The original town site of Choctaw was established on the eastern 80 acres of the Muzzy’s homestead claim.
