The Unified Development Code project for the City of Choctaw is in the works! Over the coming months, the Development Services and Planning Department will be working closely with a consulting firm, Freese and Nichols, to modernize and streamline development and code regulations.
During this project, the focus will be to comprehensively review and update the Cityâs Zoning and Subdivision codes. Many of the Cityâs current codes are outdated and fail to account for the development occurring in Choctaw today. The main benefits of the project will include:

- Improving code cross references
