Here’s a bit of historical trivia for the day! The picture used on the top of the Old Timers' Day flyer is an authentic snapshot from 1890s Choctaw. It was taken in front of Kiplinger's General Store, and the man on the horse is John S. Muzzy. The original town site of Choctaw was established on the eastern 80 acres of the Muzzy’s homestead claim.

Old Timers' Day Update! We’re making a fun switch at Old Timers' Day! The Mud Tug of War contest is canceled, but we’ve got something even more exciting lined up... A Mega Foam Party! This event will be held from 4:00 - 5:30 PM. The Mega Foam Party will feature powerful foam machines and a foam cannon that shoots foam 30 feet into the air, covering a 40x40 square foot area (or more) with foamtastic excitement. There’s plenty of room for everyone—kids and adults alike—to play, dance, and enjoy the fun! With lively music and beach balls to keep the energy high!! The foam is natural, fresh, clean, and hypoallergenic, making it safe for grass, pets, babies, children, and adults. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience! We can’t wait to see you there! #OldTimersDay #MegaFoamParty #FoamFun
